Welcome to The Endless Rot, a Project Zomboid server born out of frustration with the limitations of other servers and a desire to create something better. After spending many hours in single-player and scouring countless servers, I found that most fell short of delivering the experience I wanted. Many were bogged down by conflicting mods that caused performance issues and glitches or weighed down with rules that stifled organic gameplay and defied common sense.

That’s why I started The Endless Rot Server, to provide players with a reliable, long-term, wipe free server where survival feels authentic, and gameplay flows naturally. This server runs with only mods that have been rigorously performance-tested to ensure a smooth experience for all players and the long term operation on the server. Notwithstanding those with bad setups and optimization. No ridiculous rules, just unfiltered survival where every decision matters.

Now That Stable Is Here

Build 42.20 is finally in stable, and that changes everything. The Endless Rot is no longer waiting on the future, it can now launch as a fully committed, no-wipe Project Zomboid server built for the long haul.

After months of testing, refinement, hardware upgrades, and beta work, the server now has the stability it needs to open properly to the public. This is the point where preparation ends and the real world begins. The Endless Rot is ready for long-term survival and a community with a server meant to last.
