Server Connection Info

Running 24/7 365 the only downtime will be for server maintence, updates, restarts, backups and of course acts of nature and other causes outside of my control. The server is located in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States.

The server follows soft restart cycle every 6 hours to keep the gameplay properly optimized. That is 12am, 6am, 12pm, and 6pm. All times are EST. Before each schedule restart a 10 minute waning will alert all players in the server. Backups are also scheduled.

The server operates on an Intel i7-14700K processor, features a dedicated 9100 PRO NVMe drive, and is equipped with 128GB of DDR5 memory.

This hardware setup delivers smooth and efficient performance, making it ideal for running The Endless Rot for 100 simultaneous players with mods.

Server Description

The current sandbox settings on the server are designed to create a "realistic hardcore" experience.

The server ran 24/7 during both the Alpha and Beta phases, with scheduled restarts every 12 hours at 6 AM and 6 PM EST. That setup delivered stable performance with minimal issues and low lag. Automated cron jobs and workflows also supported routine maintenance and daily leaderboard updates.

The server ran open access throughout both phases, with no whitelist or password required. A strong, welcoming community of players naturally formed during this time, and that community is what made the experience genuinely enjoyable for everyone on the server.
