Desperate Times
Knox County is entering a harsher phase of survival. Loot is drying up, trade is becoming essential, and every decision matters more than ever.
Event Overview
Desperate Times is a serverwide event designed to push survival deeper into scarcity. As supplies disappear and easy scavenging becomes less reliable, players are forced to adapt, take greater risks, and place more value on the resources they already have.
This event changes the tone of survival across the entire map. Stockpiles matter more, trade becomes more meaningful, and even ordinary items can become valuable when nothing is easy to replace.
How It Works
Once the event begins, loot will no longer respawn across Knox County. Areas that were once dependable for scavenging become increasingly unreliable, and survivors must learn to stretch what they have.
Desperate Times is temporary, but its impact is immediate. Players who prepared in advance may have an advantage, while everyone else will need to rely on caution, trade, planning, or force to get through it.

Story
The once abundant resources that sustained your survival are rapidly dwindling. Survivors and scavengers have stripped buildings of their supplies, leaving behind little more than scraps. In towns like West Point and Muldraugh, places that once offered opportunity now stand as hollow shells.
Louisville, once a center of trade and movement, lies in ruin. Its streets are choked with debris, abandoned vehicles, and the dead. Those who approach its perimeter are often met with an eerie stillness, broken only by distant gunfire or the movement of wandering hordes.
In these desperate times, every item counts. What once seemed worthless may now be worth fighting over. Trade, restraint, and ingenuity may become the difference between survival and collapse.
As the weeks turn into months across Knox County, one thing becomes increasingly clear: only those with the means, knowledge, or cunning to adapt will endure.
